It's def overhyped but probably the few local attractions that isnt sports or food related. The museum itself is a history museum of St Louis. The information regarding the history behind the Arch is very vague and inconclusive. I walked thru the whole thing and didnt find a placard that explained why the Arch was built (i deducted to be political motives) and how long it took (found that answer on the souvenir shop coin machine).
