Unsealed road approximately 14kms to resort which becomes very muddy at end of day if there is no snow on road. If snow on road must use chains on car. Road suited more for 4WD not 2WD.
You can drive a km to pine trees car park and catch a shuttle bus up mountain from there. Cost $10 return.
Resort is geared more for intermediate skiers but there are some beginners and advanced runs too. Excellent terrain park.
From base area can hire gear, organize ski/board lessons group or private. The work shop and repairs are able to service your skis and boards staff very friendly and helpful. Purchase lift tickets from office. Lockers available for $15 or open free lockers to store gear.
If you are using valley view car park, you must already have lift pass to take lift up mountain.
Great cafe at base that also allows you to eat food you have brought with you. Taps for cold and boiling water available. In an effort to be environmentally friendly there is no single use crockery or take away.
Noodle bar. Base bar.
The Mezz has Alpine dinning table service.
Different food options to cater for all. Cafes also at bottom of Valley view quad and Captains express.
Retail shop bit expensive but reasonable range of ski gear and gifts.
