Horrible company if you need health care benefits....

Horrible company if you need health care benefits. Signed up for coverage in March 2017. Supposed have coverage April 15th. Verified with company benefits starting April, they said yes everything in order. Made 6 doctor appointments, (my son and I) with dentist, optometrist and PCP. Deducted money my own account (weird, but money deducted from checking account as well as from paycheck if u want full benefits), so also supposed deduct money from paycheck. Company decided to wait until May, to start deducting from paycheck. Problem was my contract ended April 30th. So since never was payroll deduction, I was not even able to make back payments out of my own pocket to payback insurance for coverage. So basically, company screwed me over, because they waited additional month to give me coverage. I ended up having to pay out of pocket cash prices for each dr visit without reduced rates (insurance has agreed upon/reduced rates for procedures). So this company cost me literally, over $2000 out of pocket, even though they affirmed with me that i would be covered. And I was told, sorry was just really bad timing, since they decided to wait an extra month to get everyone enrolled.
