My mother brought here for a womb examination. A polyp that could potentially endanger her cancer's past.

She had to undergo an examination under general anesthesia. First of all, there was not enough room to receive more than 2 people in a room to complete the intake. Whether one of us wanted to wait outside ... NO WAY!
My mother had to drop a breast twice. We, as family and friends, don't let her go through that again.
We were three. Patient + 2 family members ... Is that a lot? Or is that normal?

After we had taken her away, we were casually told that there was no point in staying. Go home and enjoy!
I don't know what it's like for the rest of the Netherlands, but my mother has NEVER left me alone in the hospital. As a son, now 36 years old, I would therefore NEVER leave my mother alone in a hospital. That's the way it's supposed to be. Do not tell me what to do. Tell me what to expect. In short:

We stayed.

Before my mother was taken to the operating room, we were asked if it was not a good idea to keep her cell phone in a safe. That way she could call herself when she was awake again.

My pants fell off. Why does my own mother have to call ME to tell her that everything was ok. I expect the hospital to take on that task. If only that everything is okay.

The room where she was was damaged and it looks like many collisions have taken place with a bed and the wall.

We were told that we were picked up from the waiting room to see my mother. wait for 45 minutes, but still informed. It turned out that they had forgotten about us. Sorry...

Well, it will just be your mother.

We were also told that we were only allowed to visit during visiting hours. This is due to the fact that she was not alone in the room. When we entered, it turned out that my mother's fellow patient had been visiting for a long time.
In short, as a son I could have been for my mother much earlier. I don't know why we were not taken out of the waiting room. I don't know why we haven't been called. I only know that either things went wrong or the fact that my mother is white and I am black.

Today, the result of her investigation. She was nervous, logical. She had to go to the toilet. Unfortunately, all toilets were out of use. She went to another department, but she was not allowed to go to the ground floor.

Really !? You're going to refuse someone who has had 2 breasts deposited and is waiting for a rash for possible cervical cancer? You refer her to the ground floor with the possible consequence that she misses her appointment?

I seriously wonder if the parent company Antonius wants to do business with this company.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that, so far, I have no doubt about the expertise of this hospital. Dealing with people, empathy and flexibility. You are for the patients, the patients are not for you.
