I was here Saturday in the ER with severe back pain. This has been the one and only time I've ever had a positive experience in this hospitals ER.

Triage was suprisingly pleasant. It was clean and the lady who greeted me was courteous. The area in the actual ER that I was in wasn't too busy or crowded. My ER doctor, Dr. Fox, was really nice (I heard him treating other patients too with the same compassion and kindness.), COMPETENT and explained things well to me. The surgeon and CT tech were also competent, kind and great at explaining things. My nurse was quick and helpful . I was there for a good 4.5 hours. Diagnosed, treated and discharged.

Only complaint is that my pain was incredibly unbearable that I couldn't wait any longer when I got into the actual ER area, so I had to ask someone at the desk for help right away.

The planets must have aligned and I got really good doctors and nurses that night.

Overall, good experience.
