Still a decent mall to visit - I'd say 80 % occupied. Hopefully they can find replacements for the now-empty Sears and Elder-Beerman anchors. Nice place to get steps in and a lot less depressing than other area malls that are struggling a lot worse. I get the sense that the Dayton Mall caught on early and surrounded themselves with drive-up outdoor retail in the vein of the Greene or Bridgewater Falls so that seems to have helped.
