My wife and I were ecstatic in that we were purchasing our first home and ready for the next chapter in our lives. We currently have an accepted offer on a home we have fallen in love with. We have spent a bunch of money doing inspections and did not do a insurance contingency and are now finding this lovely railroad is requiring that we purchase a 10 million dollar policy that will cost us over $25,000 a year simply to cross the tracks to drive into our home which is nowhere near the tracks....rather than purchasing their own policy and having everyone chip in..... this needs to be publicized... another bully
