Update 9/21: Received an email saying my order was cancelled due to credit card issues... which is not the case. The order wasn t cancelled until the bookstore was made aware one of the books was missing weeks after the order was placed. Save yourself the headache and order from Chegg better quality, faster delivery, no hassle.
Didn t have a problem ordering for summer classes, but definitely had problems this time around. Ordered 3 books on 8/18. 2 came perfectly quickly, wrapped nice, etc. The third never arrived. The fall semester has started. Emailed about the status... no response. Called the bookstore textbook line.... right to voicemail. After my second email to them, they did respond to tell me the payment didn t work and the 3rd book was cancelled. Ten minutes later I got the email about the status of the order being cancelled. So after two weeks and 3 contact attempts they realize my order was cancelled and just forgot to tell me? I waited all this time thinking I would get my book, I just wish they had been aware of the cancellation sooner, so I could have re-ordered the book BEFORE the semester started. I totally understand it s Covid times and things are weird, this just left a bad taste in my mouth. I also suggested some kind of automatic reply email to at least let the customer know that their email was received.
