No booking for locals! That's ridiculous. I know several semi-retired folks, who often go to the concerts at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I considered this place, but after reading the review by the person who was turned away because he's local and it's membership-based, no way would I book here. That's a terrible thing to do to a potential client, then simply quote some frequently asked questions. Not cool. Do the owners live nearby? Is this corporate-based? Some things people should know about booking houses and bed and breakfast places: rooms were likely constructed years ago, meaning little insulation between rooms, pretty loud; parking can be troublesome; and likely no phone operator after 11 p.m.
