This is a neat place to visit chalked full of history. There are a few things that could be done better to improve the experience. First, the audio tour is not worth the 5 pound cost. There should be far more information provided. For example, there is basically no info on how the structures were built nor much about the Roman walls. Second, there is poor signage and direction. Third, dare I say the crown jewels were underwhelming? Honestly, the vault door was nearly more interesting. Overall, plan to walk a lot (on uneven ground) and spend 2-3 hours. The armor of Henry the VIII was very neat, as were the ravens and old stone walls.
