*Do not go to this Center, if you value your child...

*Do not go to this Center, if you value your child's emotional well being!"

We were told by someone we respect and trust that Dr. Brett Greenberger, a good psychiatrist was affiliated with MSA Child and Adolescent Center. He actually does not work in the *outpatient* section there anymore, only in their Intensive Outpatient Program. However, rather than being forthright with us when we called, MSA said that we first needed to see a therapist, and then the psychiatrist. Once our daughter bonded with the therapist, they directed us to their in-house psychiatrist, Dr. Shell. Across two sessions with her, Dr. Shell managed to set our daughter back several months, given her inhumaneness and insensitivity. We complained about her and said that we wanted to discontinue seeing her. At which point, MSA refused to let our daughter see the therapist she had bonded with too, under the pretext that we owed them an exhorbitant co-pay when even the therapist agreed that this charge was not called for!

So, to sum up, the receptionists are rude, the practice is unethical, and the treatment is subpar! What they do to children that come for care and wellbeing is unconscionable.
