Prior to the appointment I just left, I would have given five stars however due to the experience I just had, I am going to have to leave a neutral review. The massage therapists here are all talented and I have always left feeling better. However, I did just try acupuncture for the first time here and booked a 30 minute message following. The appointments were set up by the front desk, the 75 minute acupuncture at 5:30 pm with the 30 minute message at 6:00 pm. I called at noon today to confirm that everything was correctly booked as math didn't really add up but was told this was correct as this is how the acupuncturist sets up her schedule as sessions overlap but I should expect to be at the clinic for almost 2 hours. I was doubtful but trusted the information given as they should know their system right? I arrived slightly early at 5:15, more than happy to wait but was admitted early. While I was in the room by 5:15, I waited in the room for 20 minutes and at 5:35 the session started. While I did get a mixture of acupuncture and a massage, low and behold to my surprise when at 6:32 pm I was told I am all done. When I left the room after getting dressed I did question why I was already done as the acupuncture session should be 75 minutes not an hour and I should have a 30 minute message still. Meaning I should be leaving at 7:15 NOT 6:40 taking into account me getting dressed. I was not charged the first time acupuncture session rate just the standard rate nor was i charged the 30 minute message even though at first I was told I would be and just to book again for a free 30 minute message next time but I am pretty sure the scowl on my face while waiting to pay played a part in the change of heart not to mention I had already decided I would say I will not be paying for the massage this time. I am not down playing the massage or acupuncture session received, however I am quite disappointed in the fact that my time was not treated as much as a priority or as important as the patient who was booked at the same time as I was and that due to the incorrectly booked appointments (which I even questioned and was given a little attitude about when I called, but hay turns out I was right) I left less then satisfied. My time and schedule for the rest of the evening has been thrown off due to this "mixup/miscommunication" which to me is unprofessional. While the massages here are up to par, the customer service isn't. On the fence whether I will book again, but as of right now, I will be looking for a new clinic to attend.
