Have been to Good Sam for emergency, for admittance and for several tests. First of all, the nurses are TERRIFIC. I have always had kind and gentle care from every nurse - especially when all my veins collapsed and the IV was causing me so much pain that they were putting ice bags on the site. They called in a nurse from another area of the hospital because "He's the best at getting an IV inserted." He came right away, and yep, did it perfectly - no pain!

It is unfortunate that I have always had a double room because all three times, the other patient was elderly,confused and kept me up for many hours. Not their fault, but no rest for me!

Support staff were also good, especially the sweet housekeeper who apologized several times for disturbing me, the transport young man who had me laughing all the way to the x-ray lab and the aide who sat w/my roommate to feed and calm her.

On the other hand, I think sometimes communication between departments is lacking. A routine blood test result didn't get back to my doctor's office for 10 days - and they are in the same building!

So in ending, my assessment is - love the staff, wondering if they have the most modern and efficient system to work with.
