The price of rental isn't listed anywhere so you have to wait in line to ask, we just kept walking and enjoying the lake on foot, plenty to see from shore and on the island(accessible by a bridge on the North side and 1 on the South side, plus the water fall and Strawberry Hill(with great views). The Boathouse has a snack bar, nice to be able to get a bite and something to drink.
Boat rentals were $10 for 2 hours when I was a child, probably $20 by now, I'll find out this summer when we go.
