Absolutely clueless, received a 1099 MISC for the ...

Absolutely clueless, received a 1099 MISC for the company I work for, says I may be on hold for over 1 hour.

Ashley (?) answered the phone, told her I would like to find out why they sent us a 1099. She wanted my loan number, told her I do not have a loan, wanted my social security number (again we do not have a loan) offered our EIN. Again she stated she would need info to pull up our loan..... I DO NOT HAVE A LOAN - she hung up, great customer service there!

On the bright side called back, went back through same ridiculous non human voice menu.... finally got where I needed to be again. Talked to Lois. A WONDERFUL EMPLOYEE! She needs a raise! Immediately understood why I was calling, that it was a mistake on their part and would I please mail it back to them. Problem solved.
