I worked as a Content Writer at Addpro. As an employee, you will be treated the worst. There is a lot of micro-management. Moreover, there is a massive load of work, but you will be compensated with a significantly less salary.
Even though I was an experienced content writer, I was compensated with a salary less than what I got in my previous company. They stated the market situation due to covid is very bad. They will increase the salary once everything is fine. I agreed, but even in that salary, they used to have salary cuts stating the same covid reason, but the work was still more.
They exploit the employees and find reasons to cut the salary. The manager is one of the worst people, he doesn't know how to manage work and if anything slightly messes up, he asks the employees to meet the boss, instead of organizing and finding the solution to the issue.
I don't know about other positions in the company, but this is not the right place as a content writer. You won't be compensated according to the work they provide. You will be paid less than the industry standards.
I was laid off from the company without giving me any valid reasons. It was probably because of the email I sent in which I asked to increase my salary. But anyway, this is my opinion of the company and its management.
**Response to the Owner**: Yes, I did accept your offer in the context of you promising me to increase the salary after three months. And you giving alternate days work from home is true, but you continuously called to work in the office three days. At those times, where did your alternate days' work assurance go? It was my alternate workday, and you asked me to come. I politely refused to state that today is my work from home day. I have been coming to work from the office continuously for three days, which you didn't like(FOR REASONS UNKNOWN). I didn't take any continuous leaves.
Moreover, I asked for just one day's leave because I was shifting my home. Any professional company would give one day leave in a month irrespective of its sector. I guess it didn't come up to your 10-YEAR-OLD "STARTUP" STANDARDS.
Talking about copying content: Those were quotes by famous digital marketers. I applied for your social media for an initial boost up. I did explain it to you during the meeting. I have written a book on Instagram marketing available on Amazon Kindle. I know how social media works and what type of content. Your social media account is dead, devoid of any engagement or reach. (Check out your Facebook and Instagram pages. There are hardly any post which has more than ten likes) There was no proper hashtag strategy nor any marketing done on your account. Your social media account was/is run by your web developer, and he put up random hashtags, which is pathetic. Maybe that's how 10-YEAR-OLD "STARTUPS" works.
You knew about my book I authored on Instagram Marketing and told you could increase my salary if I did any considerable changes on your Instagram page organically. This wasn't part of my work, and you said you would increase my salary only if I did your Instagram marketing work. You don't invest in boosting your social media accounts; I am a fool to believe you would increase my salary.
Your company is an unprofessional place where you take advantage of a professional's skill and pay them below their means, giving the reason of Corona, even though digital marketing companies are thriving during these times.
I don't go out and give negative reviews to companies. Whatever review you saw was for an interview, which they apologized as the mistake was on their side. I follow standard company rules and regulations, not a 10-YEAR-OLD "STARTUP" company's unfeasible rules. I hope you got your answers. If you come back to me, I can give you more.
