This review is EONS overdue, as its February but we took the tour in November. I believe her name was Janelle who did our tour, short spunky hair, Seattle chic style and extremely dry humor. She made it such an interactive, fun experience! (Aparently used to work for the OTHER tour company...we lucked out and got a great combo, then.) She was patient with answering aggressive comments from other group members, which I found impressive. As for the sights themselves....I think I was expecting more. That is not at all saying anything negative about the tour, but without explanation with what you're looking at...it's just some damp brick and cement. You will ABSOLUTELY need a guide with someone that knows the area and history (and with access keys!) to make it interesting. I am so happy we chose this tour to learn about the underground, and definitely walked away with more knowledge than I had before about Seattle's past. My favorite part was being given context about some Tiffany style tiles still embedded into the walls, presumably from a kitchen area (if I recall correctly) that look SO out of place with where they are now. Thank you again to our darling tour guide, I hope I got her name right!!
