I've been meaning to stop by here for a while but I could never catch them with my schedule. Right now they're only open on the weekend Friday thru Sunday. We randomly stopped by yesterday and now I'm mad I waited so long. It's a small homey place with a comforting southern feel. The menu has a variety of popular soul food items as well as dessert. The dessert changes often from what I've heard. The prices are really decent and the service was amazing. I love supporting local shops so this being a hidden gem and right around the corner made me really happy. I had the flounder dinner with two sides, yams and Mac and cheese. All made from scratch and ridiculously delicious. My wife had the daily chicken and rice special with onions and gravy along with 2 sides fried squash and collard greens. They don't have indoor seating right now but there are tables outside and the food comes packed Togo! Seriously so delicious! Make sure you stop by you won't regret it.
