Review of Orlando Science Center

I really don't have enough negative things to say ...

I really don't have enough negative things to say about this place. I went as a kid and thought it would be fun to return as a teenager with my boyfriend.

We got their around 7-8ish and I was embarrassed I had made my boyfriend pay so much for this place. All the exhibits looked so run down and cheap. A lot were broken or might as well have been broken. So boring. There really wasn't anything to do.

Not to mention, we paid a lot of money and I was so excited to see the observatory which we were not allowed into. I understand, they can't control the clouds but that was probably the only thing worth my money there. They didn't even let us onto the terrace to just see the skyline at night.

After weaving in and out of the exhibits, I started to feel really embarrassed I drug my boyfriend here. We went to the hive which was an hour and half long to carve into rubber. Not sure how it was science but ok. By the time we got out, the gift shop WHICH WAS MARKETED UNTIL 11PM, had closed by 10:40. I guess someone just didn't want to do their job??

Anyway, we go to the orange grove section around 10:50pm, no kids in there so I really wanted to take a look since I LOVED it as a kid. I absolutely enjoyed the little orange exhibit they had but every employee told me it was ONLY for kids. Even though the place was about to close and there were no kids in there, I couldn't take a look. I was so infuriated because this was a part I wanted to see so bad.

It just seems like we were barred from a lot of the stuff here and it just wasn't worth the time, gas, money, or frustration. It's so incredibly boring and I'm so upset we wasted money we didn't have on it. I could go on about how much I disliked this place but I think this will be enough.
