I purchased a home from HSU and although we love it, we were told that many builders provide a "kit" to fix cracks as the house settles. We were told that HSU was better than the others and would send a team after a year to fix those cracks. After a year we called repeatedly, trying to schedule a time, always getting told that they would get back to us. Never did. Very poor customer service to be told that and then not follow through. Now I don't even have a "kit" to do it myself!
