Busch league and your typical POS used car salesma...

Busch league and your typical POS used car salesman. I made an offer on a truck on a Friday at 11am. Salesman George Sarantis said that there were 3 appointments for later that day to see the truck and would call back that afternoon to let me know if it was still available. He called back about 4pm and made a counter offer and I called back 10 minutes later to let him know we had a deal. After going over some details - shipping, contract, etc about the purchase, he emailed a worksheet with bank wire details the following morning on Saturday. We agreed to get $35k wired over to them 1st thing Monday morning along with insurance info as banks don't tend to be open on the weekend. The money was wired at 930am Monday morning as promised. George emailed us around 1030 am to state that he didn't work that weekend and the truck had been SOLD to someone else. Apparently our verbal "handshake deal" until the banks opened on Monday wasn't enough. George stated that "they can't hold any vehicle without full payment". This wasn't a frivolous offer to buy a vehicle, it was deal between Sun Toyota and our commercial construction company. Delivery options, timing on contracts, bank transfer were all discussed over text and email. We were fully expecting to buy a vehicle. Unfortunately what this has taught me is that George Sarantis or Sun Toyota cannot be trusted. They are a slimy used car dealership. We fulfilled our end of the bargain and not once waivered but Sun Toyota choose money over honesty. I wouldn't recommend this dealership whatsoever. Buying a vehicle can be very stressful and alot of times you are looking for someone that you can depend on to have your best interests in mind. These people don't, they care about money and that's it. I would be wary about even sitting in their dealership hashing out a car deal and having to go to the bathroom. Sun Toyota might sell your car right out from under you because "they can't hold any vehicle without full payment"!
