Interesting and free entrance. After visiting the Capitol, make sure to visit the Library of Congress. The biggest library in the United States. A copy of all publications and books must be available there. I didn't wait in any line. It was so easy, fast and worth it. Exhibitions and projections are launched there for various memories and topics. Take the stairs to have a look over the library. Beautiful place and highly recommended.
