Booked online the night before for an 8:30am massage. It took 40 minutes to drive to the location and when I arrived the reception told me she has sent me an e-mail of appointment denial. I checked my phone and their e-mail was sent out to me at 8:15am, 15 minutes before my appointment. I was disappointed that she only gave me 15 minutes notification when the night before they had bookings as early as 8am!!!
What angers me the most was I said there is a flaw in the online booking system considering I only get E-Mailed 15 minutes prior to my booked appointment instead of an early morning phone call as I was a previous customer on file. I was given the excuse "Erin isn't doing a 90 minute massage today", "we never had this problem before" (basically implying I was the problem and had no reason to be upset).
A simple phone call instead of a 15 min out email while I was already headed there through heavy morning traffic would have been a better choice. Would have been common sense. If you can't accept 90 min, then change your online booking to restrict from it on certain massage therapists that cannot cater to it. Why show availability of booking an appointment next morning day when your excuse was "you booked last night".
More excuses then a simple apology which she ignored. I will be taking my business elsewhere and Alberta Momentum has been by far better with customer service and online booking always follows up with a phone call.
A perfect example of common sense is not so common.
