I m not one to typical review a place we don t eat...

I m not one to typical review a place we don t eat or drink at, but based on the recent 5 star reviews I expected more.

We were provided a 25 min wait quote upon arrival. This surprised me considering the restaurant was at half capacity, it was 1:30 in the afternoon, and there were all small parties on their list. 25 min later we checked back in and inquired since they hadn t called us and it was even emptier. The hostess explained their kitchen got slammed for lunch.

We decided to head elsewhere as I was less than optimistic about the service or food we d receive based on the at least 30 min they apparently require to recover from a Sunday lunch rush. Two stars as the interior and menu looked great post-renovation, but, again, not confident in service or execution based on our experience.
