I had a pinky surgery in March that left my pinky extremely stiff and disabled. I went and got therapy from the wonderful ladies down at Nevada Hand Therapy and my finger is as good as new. The wonderful therapists had me with full function of my pinky within a few months. The staff always encouraged me to do only what was comfortable and always reassured me on how great I was doing and how strong my finger was getting in such a short period of time.
The best thing about going to NHT is that the staff is extremely welcoming and everyone treats you like you are the most important patient. Whether I was interacting with the Christina and Brenda up front, the wonderful techs, or any of the amazing therapists (including Blue the therapy dog) I always felt that I was being taken care of with the utmost respect. The staff always started my therapy out with warming my muscles and tendons up in a heated cornmeal box (which feels amazing). Every visit I had the therapists gave me workouts/exercises to do at home along with the necessary tools to do the exercises.
I would recommend this wonderful place to any of my friends/family at any given time. They really take care of the people who walk through their door as if they are family.
If you are in the need of some occupational therapy this is the place you should go!
