Joined a brand new app called Clubhouse and found Brandon Na (Seattle Organic SEO) at the helm in the first room I joined. He was talking about SEO strategy, which was appealing to me as I do design and marketing work for some companies on a freelance basis.

About 20 minutes in, Brandon mentioned how important the page title is in getting your website ranking higher. I took a look at one of the sites I had been trying to rank (we were sitting in the 4th spot for a few search terms) and realized the title could be improved. While still in this chat room, I went and updated the title and then asked Google to crawl the page again. Another hour went by and we're now in the second spot for those same search terms.

In 2 hours, this man improved our search ranking by two slots. The phrase, "the proof is in the pudding" is a huge understatement.
