Lets be clear from the start, this is not the five star resort they claim it is. 4 star is the most they could try for - but during our 5 day golf stay a number of issues prevented the best holiday possible meaning 3 stars are fair.

The service was poor. staff in the receptio desk were both particularly unhelpful but also tried to con us out of the 40 F&B credit each golfer was entitled to as part of our package. They would basically lie to try and get out of the conditions of our deal.

Then the golf pro shop refused to accept the golf tee time reservations we were given, that had been confirmed....claiming the computer says a different time. This meant golfers had to rush round at the last minute, which in turn spoilt theyr round of golf and therefore day.

The barman in the main lounge bar was surly and unfriendly, the manager of the restaurant took too much delight in locking guests out at precisely 10:30am (when they stop serving), the waiting staff took too long to do...anything, food took too long to arrive.....it all just felt pretty ineffectual. Oh and staff took offence to us using Uber and not booking taxis through reception.

The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere too.

There are plenty of other places to go - I strongly recommend you do.
