Its a racket. Do not talk to the police, record everything and stand up for yourself. These ppl are revenue enforcers for the greedy court system of Fairfax county. 2 time ive been to traffic court and the officer did not show up and judges said I could plead guilty or come back into court another day (and lose another day of work). In both cases the judge basically tried to coerce me into pleading guilty and pay a fine where he basically replaces the "accuser" and/or prosecutor (unconstitutional). Also if your case is dismissed or found not guilty, the court of course does not reimburse you for your loss of work, the lucrative fee of parking there, or anything else.
Also as the rest of the country gets rid of photo radar tickets (due to them being constitutionally questionable) Fairfax is implementing and expanding the program. Never pay those, and do not respond to the letters, these are crimes they are accusing you of and is a phishing scam to get you to convict yourself. In America, the state has to have a witness and physical accuser to charge you with a crime. Stand up for yourself and dont let these people railroad you for profit.
