We went to this festival with no expectations. We had never been to one but since there was nothing else going on this weekend, we decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised how well the whole thing was put together. It was set up very nicely and had a great atmosphere for fun. The shows were the best part. Although we only got to see three of them, each one seemed to get better.

The reason for the knock on the stars, is the price. I did not do any research and was shocked that when we got in line for tickets, it was $30 for adults and $20 for kids. If we had not drove an hour and a half, we may have turned around. I am not a cheapskate by any means. I am willing to pay money and that is why we ended up going in. The rough part was when we got inside, we realized that many of the things that I feel should have been included in entrance were. If they were, they entrance fee would have been understandable. It was $4-5 for every little thing my daughter wanted to do. Ride a ten second slide for $4? Seriously? $4 to ride a non motorized spinning ride for 2 minutes? Come on.

They food was a bit overpriced also, but not too bad. Overall, we had fun. Just make sure that you are ready to spend more money than expected. With the number of people that were here on this one day we were (thousands of cars in lot), I think they could either lower admission or make a few more things included. Especially if it s stuff just for kids.
