Deschutes is a great spot to stop in Bend if you are a beer lover. Located right in the downtown area, the bar and restaurant is nice and causal and often crowded. The food here is typical bar food with burgers, salads and some good fish offerings. Nothing too special but it certainly does the trick. The reason to come here is the excellent beer that Deschutes makes. I really like Mirror Pond and Bachelor Ale but have yet to find a beer of theirs I don't like. Reasonable pricing and a casual atmosphere it's a great stop in Bend.
