Review of Albert Heijn 1303 (Nijmegen)

Bad supermarket.

Bad supermarket.

Selection is extremely small. How is it possible that for such a large neighborhood this is the only supermarket (next to LIDL) but it is not XL?

Prices at AH are always extremely high compared to chains such as LIDL.
It is often nice to shop at AH, because it is a beautiful store with a good selection of products.

With this one that is completely missing, so buying groceries at the AH actually becomes a waste of money and time.

Also annoying is that it is a small supermarket, but there are constantly students at work, so that usually half the supermarket is blocked by carts with products and carts.

Often those children who work there also talk and laugh loudly with each other, I don't understand why this is allowed, when I had a job I was certainly not allowed to constantly talk and giggle with my colleagues.

I don't want to come across as a sour plum, but I really enjoy walking around a spacious supermarket where nice music plays and the noise of people stays low. When I get to AH Jonagoldstraat it feels like I am in a high school classroom during recess at some hours.

The self checkout is also really a great asset. So that's about the only good thing.
