We saw from one of the post in Facebook that "LANDMARK GROUP" is going to conduct a Walk-In Interview dated 06/07/19 which is yesterday. Since my husband is looking for a job and knowing how big company it is, although it is really far from where we are coming from and as me who just came from a night shift thought that it would be worth it to go and try. So we got up early, and prepared. Since we are new to Dubai Marina, when we reach to DAMAC Station, we then started to walk under the sun for almost 10 minutes without realizing that taking the TRAM was the best way to reach there, but we didnt mind it as we came with a HOPE for a good opportunity. Reaching there, as expected it was a walk in interview so there would be more applicants who were also hoping to get a job. We then sat for a few seconds at the lobby with the other applicants then one guy came who was clearly from the HR Team, so i then step back as im not applying and waited behind as he started to do the "Group Interview" kind of style. Asked random questions like "Why are u here?" "What do u know about Landmark Group?" " What is Customer Service?" and so on and that continued for like 3 mins and finally selected active applicants who passed for the 2nd round of interview and those who are not can come back after 6 months to apply again. Clearly a lot of applicants were upset as they didnt expected it to be as fast as 3 minutes they can already decide. Disappointed and still feeling exhausted from walking under the sun, i told to my husband to stay for like 1 or 2 mins before walking under the sun again towards the Tram. The Security Guard told us that we really cant stay there longer but i asked to give us just 1 or 2 mins, and i Thank Him for being understanding. WHEN SUDDENLY, 1 FAT INDIAN LADY WITH THE SPECS, WITH A HAIR TILL PASS SHOULDER LONG PASS BY WHO WAS FROM THE HR TEAM AS WELL I GUESS AS SHE WAS BEHIND THE GUY WHO CONDUCTED THE INTERVIEW, WITH A VERY COMMANDING VOICE TOLD US " IF YOU ARE ALREADY DONE PLEASE LEAVE MAAM" REPEATEDLY SAID " LEAVE MAAM, LEAVE". As if we have a kind of disease or something. I told her to just pls give us 1 or 2 mins more to stay. Im actually 3 months pregnant and was feeling dizzy so i insisted even in a very short time. But that Lady's attitude was completely a disgrace to such a big company like Landmark. As they were talking about CUSTOMER SERVICE, she clearly forgot that WE ARE ALSO CUSTOMERS. And i wish she was thought that even 1 person's complaint will pass through generation after generation specially with the word of mouth. It made me very grateful to realize how lucky i am to be belong to the company where im working for with a management, senior leaders even from HR Team not to value only Customers but Colleagues as well as Human to Human. So now even i give birth i will never ever buy from BABYSHOP, i know its not their fault but that lady's attitude will make more Customers to boycott their shops. We felt lucky that my husband didnt get selected, coz if he will work under company with a heartless leader like that lady im sure he will not learn what truly a person should a possess to be an effective CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. I myself is working in a Hospitality Industry so i know that the most important things always comes from the HEART. This post might not get noticed but i know, someday somehow she will get what she deserve. I really wanted to understand her that she might be tired or whatever, but what she did to us was totally unacceptable as a Human.
