I purchased a 2018 Toyota RAV4 just before I moved back to this area. I have had my car serviced at SunToyota and had a wonderful experience however the Hertz rental within Toyota was a HORRIBLE experience. The customer service, or lack there of, is appalling, the staff is rude and had no sense of urgency. I rented a car from Hertz in May to have repairs done to my windshield, I rented a Nissan Versa for 2 days for $74 which is crazy in itself... I received the car with nothing in the gas tank 0 mpg left and had to immediately get to a gas station after leaving. I waited with no assistance for 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was there. After finally getting someone s attention I signed my documents and collected the keys and was told to come in by 6:30 on Thursday to return it and was promised someone would be available. I came in to return my rental that evening at 6:05p and nobody was at the desk, I called he number that was on a post-it (completely unprofessional) to call if they were not at the desk. I called FOUR times and waited 20 minutes before I got through to someone to help. I was told the gentleman was cleaning a car and I would have to wait even longer to get someone to collect the keys from me. I told him I could not wait, I had to leave to get to an appointment. He told me to throw the keys on the floor behind the desk and he would get them and I could leave. If this is the sort of company SunToyota keeps I will take my service and sales elsewhere going forward. I would not suggest utilizing this service from SunToyota!!
