Whatever you do, stay away from the Professional Enhancement Program (PEP). I went to rehab at Next Step then transferred to PEP. I went back every 6 months for 4 years. Four people in my support group went to PEP, three of us transferred. The 4th guy finally finished but they want him on life long yearly polygraphs.

After 4 years, my mental health and career were in jeopardy. I transferred to the Acumen Institue in Lawrence, KS. My stress immediately improved. Diagnosis were removed and restrictions eased. I could moonlight, easing financial stress. If you are a professional, I recommend staying away from the Pine Grove system. You could get swept into the PEP. If you are there now and in misery, call Acumen.
