The Tower is a great experience when visiting London.

It's not cheap but you can get a 2 for 1 discount when using a railway Day's Out voucher.

You have to visit early morning though, the ticket office only had two windows open when I went at 9.30am and it took 10-15 minutes to get to the window in the queue.

If you have kids get to the White Tower first and go to the top floor for the interactive room. There's no toilet in there so you'll have to walk all the way to to top floor to come down again and go outside. By 10:30 this room was extremely busy.

It's a shame there wasn't interactive devices in the other rooms of the White Tower as it would have made the kids more interested in the history but they still loved the armour and weapons.

The Beasts room is small so don't expect much. We spent about 5 minutes in there. It's mostly information and no models of animals etc.
