Laurie took portrait photos of members of the American Mathematical Society (AMS), who visited the booth at the AMS stand at the recent annual Joint Mathematics Meeting in Baltimore. Not only did she take great photos, but she did it in a way that made all those who came by comfortable and content. She knew how to interact effectively with both customers and staff, and how to appear almost invisible at the right moment.
