Big hotel on Sukhumvit 18...down the soi a bit. Rooms very clean, air con very cold, 11th floor pool very nice... surrounded by high rises...

For the money, it was a great place. This isn't the JW Marriot or the Ritz-Carlton, but it's great for a party trip maybe more than a business trip, but could be for the latter. Lots of staff to patron ratio doesn't seem this place's forte.

More to be said about Rang Mahal, the swanky Indian restaurant on the 26th floor. Really, really good. It won some kind of BKK awards and it didn't disappoint. A chicken Tikka salad and a tikka bass knocked my dork in the dirt...just really good. Not cheap, but also beautiful BKK skyline views. (Many wealthy Indians were eating here when I was there.)
