I brought my 2018 Traverse in for service on 9/9/2...

I brought my 2018 Traverse in for service on 9/9/2020 because it was giving me the error message of shift to park. I was having to turn my vehicle back on and go through all of the gears to get the message to go away. They suggested replacing my shifter and the harness at $260.00. I did not approve for the work to be done at that time and asked for the GM part numbers to do a little shopping around to see if I could get the parts at a cheaper price. On the GM parts direct website I was able to find the shifter for $73.31 instead of $118.75 and the harness for $7.89 instead of $12.75. I called back and spoke with Bruce to let him know of this and I had hoped since this was from a GM website they would honor this price. Instead he said to me " Okay well just button it up and pull it around front." I felt like this was poor customer service. I am a very loyal customer. I have purchased two vehicles: 2008 Cobalt and 2018 Traverse. I have never been late on a payment, I bring both vehicles in for routine maintenance to be done, and I have used the body shop quite a few times. I was dissatisfied to say the least with them. After 12 years of dedicated service I thought a return customer would have been given better service than this. Whenever, I borrow a loaner I always return it with more fuel than what is was loaned to me at. Jerry is definitely missed in the service department and this makes me want to take my business elsewhere.
