For the record, I have NEVER written a bad review. I tried to give them a chance by seeing if the service aspect would be different but they are very consistent.....consistently horrible. I purchased an RV in August 2020 and it has been a nightmare from start until present. I love my RV but Camping World of Tallahassee is a horrible place to purchase.
I will try and make this as short as possible but I want buyers to be informed of what I ve experienced. My salesperson, Jack, did everything he could to earn my business. He constantly called and assured me that he would be just as attentive after I purchased. There was a complete mix-up with myself and another buyer and I was emailed the wrong application to sign. Then after I finally signed correct paperwork with the final purchase price, I was told the finance person made a mistake and I had to pay an additional $1000. After going back and forth, I finally agreed to pay $500.
So I finally get it home almost 2 hrs away to realize they had me purchase wrong power chord. The salesperson literally placed the wrong chord in my hand to purchase. During the delivery, I noticed the bedroom slide was off track so it was annotated on delivery paperwork. After a few more days, I noticed some other things that were wrong. After contacting the salesperson, Jack, who was always texting, calling & available, he was no longer available. I tried for 2 weeks to only be advised from someone else that I should ve been told that I would no longer deal with my salesman, only the service department.
I took my RV in 0ct 25, 2020 to have the issues resolved. I am now standing in Camping World of Tallahassee with some of the employees trying to hitch the RV but having issues with the hitch chord. Main problem is, nothing was done to my trailer in a month. They never called me with updates. I called weekly and was told some of the things had been done. Only to be told today, that parts may come in but they don t do any work until everything is in....not what I was told prior!! I am very unhappy with my experience at Camping World of Tallahassee!!
