Kenner Boxing Gym (Old Wentwood gym) on Furman Dr. is disgusting, trashy and disrespectful to the neighborhood. The gym has no trash dumpster/ bin, so the gym affiliate decides to place their plies of filthy trash water bottles, old gym equipment, and fast food containers at a light pole in the center of the neighborhood. Causing a feasting site for a family of raccoons and cats. This is a respectful well kept neighborhood with young Kids and wants to uphold a clean environment. However, it seem as if Kenner Parks and Recreations have no care or concerns of the maintenance of their facility are who operates them smh... This has been a on going issue for years now, after several attempts to express our thoughts about the trash pile up and placement to the gym Director, so he totally disregarded our opinions; and purposely place the trash to the street on Thursdays evening leaving it there to attract more rodents until Monday and sometime the trash will get so out of control the garbage maintenance workers will leave it there. While the residents have to suffer with seeing and smelling the eye sore daily in the neighborhood. This issue is getting totally out of control with the trash and the up keep of the gym, I don t understand why a dumpster is not place at the gym or maybe placing a DO NOT DUMP sign at each light pole of the gym. The residents of Furman Dr. is frustrated and feel disrespected that no one at parks and recreation resolved the stanky problem. PLEASE STOP THE TRASH AND CLEAN UP...
