Our family stayed at the Highlander over the past weekend. The hotel has a great rock and roll vibe to it, as it is ment to have. The hotel is a true holdover from that time and not a modern interpretation of that Era. As such the rooms are a little different than one might expect from a modern hotel. Being a true hotel from that Era and currently being renovated there are some aspects that are not quite done but you can see the progress and everything will be amazing when finished. We stayed in a suite right off of their very large pool. Each room has a set of tables and chairs in the pool area that would be great for family gathering while the kids are swimming. They have a snack bar right next to the pool, and we enjoyed their delicious mango salsa and chips. They also have a full bar with fun Era themed drinks. We had 2 different drinks and they were also great. This hotel would be great for families with teenagers or groups of adults.
