Me, my sister, my mom and my grandmother were physically assaulted in the Bert Kouns/Youree Walmart on Sunday July 15th. We called the police and when they arrived they wouldn't listen to us and did not take us seriously at all. We were emotional and upset because we had just been punched in the face by 4 African-Americans ( 1 man and 3 women) and the police were not understanding at all. We really tried to tell the story in a very calm manner but they wouldn't listen. They were highly unprofessional and immediately prejudiced. I used to have faith in tje police that if I was in trouble that they would help me, but that is not the case for Shreveport.
