I was a bit afraid of taking acting classes. I always wanted to do it but I was too shy and I always found excuses to not go. Finally, I decided that I was ready and called Nick Conti. He was very pleasant on the phone and he told me that I had nothing to worry about, that I could still persue an acting career if I devoted myself to it and had the discipline. He invited me to audit a class for free to see if that's what I wanted to do. So I did, and that same day I felt like I wanted to participate with the other students!! I was very excited. That same night I told Nick that I wanted to take that class and he put me on the wait list. The next week I was participating in the class.
I have been taking classes with Nick for a month already and I love it!! I think that's the only place that I look forward to go to every week. The students are nice and everybody respects each other.
Nick is a good teacher, you will notice that the same day that you go to audit the class. He is also a caring person that wants to see his students suceed.
Don't be late for his class though or you might not be able to get in. Most likely you won't. He takes his classes seriously and doesn't like anybody that interrupts it or disrespects his student's time. Even if you are new you will be participating in the class like any other student. I thought I was going to feel uncomfortable because I never acted on anything before, not even in school but in his class this doesn't matter, we are all the same.
I love my class, it's such a great atmostphere. We have fun while we work.
