Let me explain why I gave this company 4 Stars, and for anybody who got approved for this loan, or is thinking about it. Let me explain my situation, and read this. I read all the horror stories and MANY reviews for American Credit Acceptance. Chances are you don t have great credit, like myself at the time, and needed a car. I had poor credit when I got my loan, and it was at 18% interest rate. However, they were the only ones who gave me a chance. They always reported my on time payments, and with the help of some bad credit cards I had to take, and paying them on time, and paying off a few small debts, my credit went up pretty dramatically, and I was able to refinance through my bank at 6%. I called American Credit Acceptance, they gave me the address to mail my check. I mailed it in, and a week and a half later I got my title. I get some of the employees can be rude, but what company doesn t have that? I never experienced any of the horror stories at all. I know the interest rates are high, but they will give you a chance, and as long as you make your payments on time, you will never experience anything unusual. Then once your credit has gone up, you can refinance. Thankful that I was able to get a loan, then refinance it at a way better interest rate.
