Absolutely the quintessential chicago jazz bar. One of my favorite places in the city and maybe in the entire world. Its as unique to chicago as a bar gets too. Its fun to see some of your favorite acts come though, but the real fun is showing up on a random night only to be blown away by an artist you have never seen before.

Drinks are pricey but not terrible. 2 drink minimum or a small cover.

Decor probably hasnt changed in 50 years. The pole in front of the stage is probably the worst part of the room yet its also one of the most unique features.

All in all, uniquely chicago and fantastic. perfect for tourists and locals.
