To be honest, this school didn t really prepare me for high school. I was never taught good study habits or organizational skills needed for high school classes. I was taught about leadership and learning, which is an important aspect of high school, but it s not the entire thing. I feel unprepared in some of my classes, as well as when I prepare for a test or quiz. Extra credit may be needed in the middle school level but is not provided in my high school, so I came to high school thinking I would receive extra credit or retakes when I didn t. I think the main thing Amana should focus on truly is the real preparation for high school and the standards.
