I am somewhat surprised to read so many negative reviews about this school. I graduated with honors in 2014 with Web Technologies, Database Management and Computer Programming degrees. The professors and instructors were instrumental in me meeting my goals. I put in a lot of very long hours and I consulted with my teachers and the staff when I ran into problems. Not once did anyone ever say "no" to assisting me. I transferred to UNCG where I am now, and I experience on a daily basis how well GTCC prepared me for the technical component of my Information Systems major.

I can only speak for what I experienced from 2011 - 2014. But, during my time there I found this to be an excellent and caring school; however, it was not an easy school just because it is a community college. If you are not willing to put in the effort, you will not be successful here. But, if you are willing to work very hard and diligently seek assistance when you need it, then this school will prepare you for the next stage of your life.
