This is, by far, the most spectacular museum Philadelphia has to offer. And while many complain it never should have left it's original home on the Main Line, I'd argue the collection is far more accessible in it's new home on the Parkway. Dr. Barnes befriended artists like Matisse and Degas, which meant he also collected their art. The pieces he amassed are just phenomenal. And the curators tried their best to maintain the displaying method used at the original museum in the burbs. Be sure to buy tickets in advance and ignore the fact the building's exterior is somber like a Holocaust Museum. #Philly #Museum #ArtsyFartsy
