Played the Shattuck for the first time over the weekend - WOW. I can easily understand why it is ranked in The Top 50 Hardest Golf Courses in America - However - playing it the second time Sunday, I knew where to go, where to miss, where there was room and how to putt the greens and lowered my score by 7 shots.
It is a must play + they have 5 hotels that partnered with them and they all offer great preferred rates. Loved the promotion about "whatever you shoot is the price of your first draft" - can't wait to return.. The staff is awesome.
