Old Ironsides is a national treasure, but it is the active duty crew that really brings the ship to life. They have the history and origin of each part of ship in their heads, and are more than happy to share their knowledge. The museum itself is very well done as well, and has much to offer.

Amazing ship. The captain dressed in period garb, explained many things about the ship, like who slept where. The history of planning maneuvers, the different types of 'shot' out of the canons and what damage they did. It was truly a different world than what we are used to. A must see!

Absolutely amazing museum next to the USS Constitution. Definitely geared towards kids but just as interesting for adults. So many hands on exhibits and activities, it's impossible to get bored. It's cool.... But pretty off limits when we were there. Had to walk around it because there was no admittance when we were there, but DEFINITELY CHECK OUT THE Castle Island pop up beer garden. Just follow the path down the side of the USS Constitution and it's by the marina
